Dandelion
Common name: a weed, Dandelion
Scientific name: Taraxacum officinale
Clade: vascular,seed producing, angiosperm

Location collected: In front of the city safety building in sawtelle
Habitat: among grass and a small bush right next to it. dry soil and cement is cracked around it.
Nativity: Source is in Eurasia
Special notes: The plant is able to grow in various environments. A dandelion can refer to the flower or the kind that everyone blows out for fun. Each strong gust of wind can cause most of the seeds to disperse.

Habitat: Recieves morning sun and almost no sun during the max heat of the day, soil is not to deep, surrounded by bushes and hedges.
Nativity: origin found in Australia and Malysia
Special notes: The flowers do look like bottlebrushes and are soft to the touch. People of mexican descent have said that kids would play with them for fun.

Special notes: It is fast growing plant that can grow up to 39 in. a day if in right weather and soil conditions. Can be used to make a basic shack and even instruments. They are fuzzy in the inside of the bamboo air chamber.
