Callistemon

Common name: Weeping Bottlebrush Tree
Scientific name: Callistemon viminalis
Clade: Vascular,seed producing, angiosperm
Data collected: 4/20/11
Location collected: Some on beloit and sawtelle befor the flowers shops begin
Habitat: Recieves morning sun and almost no sun during the max heat of the day, soil is not to deep, surrounded by bushes and hedges.
Nativity: origin found in Australia and Malysia
Special notes: The flowers do look like bottlebrushes and are soft to the touch. People of mexican descent have said that kids would play with them for fun.
